Community programme

The project will organise a varied programme of public events for the local communities in four different cities (Ljubljana, Prague, Madrid, Athens).

Each participating artist-in-residence will organise at least two public events in one location (48 events in total), showcasing how he/she/they engage/s with sustainability through his/her/their artistic practice. The events will take various forms, from artist talks, open studios, workshops, pop-up exhibitions to performances.

Locals will have the opportunity to learn about a particular artistic practice. The final presentation in the form of a four-part event will be organised in all participating residential centres. Each residential centre will adapt the exhibition format to its infrastructural capacities, the practices of the participating artists and the works produced.

Snehta will provide curatorial guidance for the final project presentation and thus develop new sustainable strategies for artistic presentation (production, dissemination and archiving).
