Exhibition in MGLC Švicarija

In honor of the Slovene National Culture Holiday, MGLC Švicarija opened its doors on February 8th for a day filled with artistic exploration and celebration. The event featured a special open studios day, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to engage with the creative process of resident artists.

Adding to the excitement, SAiR project artists Lenka Kubelova and Olga Stankova presented captivating exhibitions that will be on view until March 3rd:

Lenka Kubelová: "Rizosfera"

Delve into the realm of Rizosphere – an exploration of soil, roots, and interconnected microorganisms. Experience the winter rhythm of Šišenski Hill, with pigments collected from uprooted tree root systems, fermented oxymel with pine branches, winter fungi, ethical manuals for foraging, and ecosystems as inspiration for our human civilization.

Olga Staňková: "Spremenljiva narava – Gozd znanja"

Explore the ever-changing nature of the "Forest of Knowledge." This exhibition is based on observing specific parts of natural structures and their limitations, yet finding their own way of regrowth, movement, and transformation to continue existing as a dynamic ecosystem.

These exhibitions offer inspiring perspectives on life's challenges, inviting deeper empathy and understanding. Don't miss this chance to immerse yourself in art that transcends boundaries.
