Kick-off meeting in Ljubljana

The SAiR project was initiated by the kick-off meeting of the partners in Ljubljana on 26–28 March 2023. The project partners presented their residential capacities, ongoing programmes and the management strategies of their respective residential centres.

On behalf of the International Centre of Graphic Arts operating as the lead partner, Luka Novak Kogoj Humar (appointed as project manager) prepared an overview of the project, focusing on: management, objectives, expected deliverables (residencies, workshop cycle, Manual for Sustainable Studio Practice, public programme and four-part final exhibition), budget and reporting. All partners participated in the shaping of the promotion for the project and the development of its visual identity, website and social media profiles.

The second part of the meeting was dedicated to the guidelines of the open call for eight residential artists and the selection procedure.
